Forest certification

In Finland, forest authorities  automatically certify all forest owners by the PEFC system unless the owner specifically requests otherwise. Through Innofor you will soon be able to join the FSC forest certification system. FSC-certified wood is increasingly in demand, and is the certificate used and recommended by many leading conservation organisations as well as increasingly also by publishers. For example, the last Harry Potter book was printed exclusively on FSC paper.

FSC certification requires a personal decision to join from the forest owner, but you can accredit Innofor to deal with all the paperwork. More information on certifying your forest can be obtained by filling in this form.
